WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE NETS MOVING TO THE ROCK, AND THEN BROOKLYN?

What was the main reason for the Nets and Devils leaving the Meadowlands, and do you think they needed to move?

  • Hey, everybody, as you might know, I asked a similar question about the Vikings and the Metrodome recently. So, the Nets, Devils, and Seton Hall have all moved out of the Meadowlands arena, real name currently Izod Center, with the Devils and Seton Hall leaving in 2007 and the Nets leaving in 2010. They now play at the Rock in Newark, Devils and Seton Hall permanently and Nets temporarily until the move to Brooklyn in late 2012. So, could somebody tell me 2 things: 1.) What was the main reason for the 3 mentioned teams leaving the Meadowlands and 2.) Do you think they needed to move or not?

    The Nets NEEDED to move. The Devils fans hated them being there and personally I think they jinxed the building with their awfulness since that season the Devils didn't make the playoffs for like the first time ever.
