Pittsburgh or Philadelphia? Who's the Better Hockey City?

When the Flyers suck they still sell out their building. When the Pens suck they go bankrupt and are on the brink of relocation.

In terms of Hockey City, Philly. They have a much longer tradition and were never threatened to disappear. In terms of team talent, Pittsburgh hands up. The cup is going West this year anyways. The best Pittsburgh can hope for is to win the Eastern Championship. It will be a very tough fight to reach that point. Montreal has very good chances too. Awesome playoffs ahead!

6th time in 10 years?Also made the playoffs once in the past 6 years with that lone appearance a loss to the Sens last year in the quarterfinals 4-1. Actually this is the first time the pens one in the atlantic division. it was the patrick division when they won the previous years. i also think the pens fans are better than flyers fans because filthy filly has the worst fans out of any city in any sport.

Philly is a better hockey city, but the Pens currently have a better hockey team. Buffalo And Detroit are both better hockey cities though.

First, you better mean the first time in ten years. Second, people that come to the Penguins games aren't true fans. They're bandwagon Steelers fans. I've been to 10+ games a season in the last 10 years. When the Penguins were down, I could find tickets for 5$. There were barely 8000 people in the arena. The only reason people in Pittsburgh were behind the team when relocation was possible, was due to the promising future the team showed. My take, and I'm sorry I don't know Philly fans, but it seems to me that Philly fans back there team. I've been to many games this year, and can honestly say it's been louder in the 5 years the Pens were bad. The second period is non existing in a cheering aspect. The first 5 minutes, and the last 5 minutes are the only time the fans in Pittsburgh cheer. And obviously, you're just another bandwagon fan because you don't even know what the Pens have won. Take a look at Philly's conference championships and Division championships, you'll see the have more than us. Also, if you know anything about the Penguins you would know that Philly has been our achilles heel.
