Do you think Mikhail Grigorenko is gonna turn out to be an nhl (super)star?

  • 2012 draft prospect Mikhail Grigorenko is most likely going to end up with either Colombus , Edmenton , Montreal or Carolina. I sure hope Montreal will draft Grigorenko (or Yakupov i dont really mind either) because Grigorenko is a big guy (listed at 6'3 1/2 , 195) who can score goals. Since we trade the AK46 we will need some scoring touch on the 2nd/3rd line next year. But the big question is , do you think Mikhail Grigorenko is gonna be an nhl star as this year's draft seems to be a bit shallow. BQ: Who would you compare Griorenko to turn out be like and Yakupov to be like

    He could end up like Nikita Filatov, disillusioned by playing in a godawful team. I think that happens to a few top draft picks who end up in really shitty cities. But they might break out after they get traded to another team in few years. But Montreal has enough history and a crazy enough fanbase (it's no Columbus or Phoenix) so he could be like an Evgeni Malkin. I don't think it'll be like John Tavares dropping into the NY Islanders and nothing happens and the team still sucks. If it's a shallow draft probably more attention will be on him.

I see this years draft to be more defensive than offensive and well i see that they did pretty good during the juniors, but i don't have the same feeling that they could turn into the next ovi. That comes very rarely, they will be very good or decent, but not worthy to be comparable to ovi or crosby in their first year, hell i don't even think they would play next year, look at florida, drafted john huberdeau third round, he's still in chl?? Or dougie hamilton for boston, they both have the skill to be in the nhl yet they r not
