Who was the youngest golfer to compete in the 2002 Ryder Cup?

What do you think of this idea regarding the Ryder Cup and President's Cup?

  • As these competitions are every 2 years it means Europe cannot compete against the Rest of the World team (RoW). Why not have the competitions every 3 years? Then you could have: 2011. USA v RoW (President's Cup) 2012. USA v Europe (Ryder Cup) 2013. Europe v RoW (new Cup) etc

  • Answer:

Interesting idea that has a lot of merit. Who cares if the Americans won't watch a competition not involving the US. There would be more than enough spectator/viewer interest from the rest of the world.

I love it and I have suggested it before. The problem is most Americans would not watch it. :(

Sounds interesting however, only the golf associations can make that decision. It would allow more time for teams to get practice together and the extra tournament would certainly even the playing field for getting familiar with the other courses. Spartawo...
