You are stupid for asking this. Champs for Go ( which is the board game that is more complex than chess) are all Asians. Not because they are smarter but because other countries have no interest in this game. race doesn't matter. bye.

Not so much race. It is about opportunity, exposure and budget. Eg. White folks may make better golfers simply because their parents take them golfing when they're kids. Black folks might want to play basketball with their kids. Tiger Woods' father is a fanatic golfer. And Tiger likes to play golf. That's how it always works. But you need money to play golf - equipment, green fees and so on. So, if you're a wealthy black guy - no problem. Take for eg, the Chinese and the Koreans. It is only in the last ten years or so that golf is popular with businessmen. Of course, they can't turn pro, but they're encouraging their kids to do so. And they know it can be a good career. Watch out the pro circuit in the next ten years. Look at the Korean lady pros - they basically dominate the LPGA. So,any race can do any sport if the $ is right, opportunity and encouragement is there. Famous sports stars also has a way of promoting the sport. Eg. when Boris Becker became successful, the whole of Germany was into tennis. Now it's cycling mad. But they are losing out on what is traditionally good - swimming, athletics - check the medals. The greatest challenger of race - is football (soccer in the states). Used to be a white man's sport - not any more since Pele. Look at tennis in France - all male top players are black. Religion has a bigger bearing than Race. In Islam - sports and women have an issue. Firstly, the dressing and exposure of body. Secondly, parental disapproval. Hence, in Olympic games and so on, they don't do any of them.

Some one who is green because golf is not a cheap sport to play and the cost go up as you try to get better thru coaching, tournaments, travel and fees. Those who want to do well in golf have to spend money and the color of golf is green.
