Where can I buy a quality 1 Iron?? What brand?

• Ok I have picked up golf this last year. I love the sport but I can not hit a driver. I was on a lunch monitor and my avg swing speed is 112mph I have a huge slice on my driver and I have to play my slice right now until i figure what I'm doing wrong. Yesterday i left my driver in my bag and drove with my 2 iron. I was hitting my 2 iron about 240-250 straight down the middle 8 of 10 times. I was wondering would I get another 10 yards or so with a 1 iron? I hit my irons very straight the 6 being my favorite club. Until i get some lessons on what my major flaw is with my driver, should i stick with the 2 iron or at least pick up a 1 iron to see if i can hit it? What would be the 1 iron to get? What company makes one of the best? I think they are phasing the 1 Iron out these days...

  so think about it...80% of the time ur hitting the fairway 250yds with a 2 iron..so u want a 1 iron so u can get another 10 or 20 yards...Then what, u wont be happy with that and maybe have a 45 inch shaft put into the a 1iron so u can get 300yds...This is the number one problem with beginners...Most concern them self with hitting 300 yd drives..so they come to the driving range and practice the majority of their shots with a driver..A little story for u..I played with a one arm guy that drove the ball maybe 160yds...I couldn't beat him for 3 years..while I out drove him on average 100 to 150 yards..He was always in the fairway and on most par 4s was under 200yd on his second shot which 85% of the time was either on the fringe or green..No one plays with 1 irons anymore the hybrids have taken over..and u will not shot in the 70s by only hitting 300yd drives..the 2nd shot is the most important..
