Good advanced golf irons?

• im going to college for golf. im going next year. i have callaway big bertha 08's. im looking to upgrade to pro level golf irons. i know its all about feel and whats good for me but i want to know what u guys think ar the top golf irons used by pros so i can go try them out. i was thinking callaway razr forged or nike vr pro blades. or titleist ap2 forged. im looking to spend what it takes i just want really good irons to go onto the golf team in college with. and any driver,wood, hybrid, or putter suggestions will be appreciated too.

  I'd still wouldn't do blades... at least, not for the long irons and maybe the mid irons. Nike's Vr Pro Combo would be a good one. Bridgestone had a set... the J-36's... that was similar: cavity back long irons, "pocket cavity" back mids and blade shorts. You could do a split set of AP1's and AP2's, as well. Dynacraft makes a set, the Prophet Tour's, that are geared towards the better player; there's a slot cavity that can't be seen at address, but offers cavity-back forgiveness (somewhat). Are you worried more about impressing the guys with your gear? Don't- especially if it's outside your budget. Used clubs (post-2006) and component brands will give you just as much playability as any of the current "big boys". Get fit with clubs you can afford, then go out and knock 'em down.
