Callaway for drivers and irons, odyssey for putters.

Sorry, but there is no answers, only opinions. Here's a truth*, though: All clubs, regardless of brand, are made in the SAME 10 foundries in China and Taiwan (depends on head style). Forged blades are done in the same forging houses in Japan or China. You guessed it: by the same people, making the same crummy wages, with the same machines, to the same standards. Do you REALLY think you'd be getting anything "better" by buying a Callaway v. a Taylormade? LOL... Golf clubs are dictated by physics, not clever marketing. If you had a Titleist and Adams driver, and they had the same specs, they'll do the same thing. No ifs, ands or buts... just simple science. Same can be said for shafts and grips, as well. This also includes component and clone brands (but not counterfeits). Where things get dicey is in the subtlties of a club. One's center of gravity location may be too high for you, but there's another out there that's just right. If you don't like box-shaped hybrids, chances are you won't buy one. It goes on and on and on and on...

Taylormade is without a doubt the best driver maker, but irons depend largely on your skill.. If you are a skilled player, Titleist makes the best. If you are new, Adams makes the best. As for putters, no one rivals Odyssey. Some pay $300 for Scotty Camerons and justify their investment upon 'superior technology' but it's all for the name. Just to toss thin in there, I think Ping makes the best wedges (as opposed to Titleist or Cleveland which most people think are are the best)

But the answer should be the best club is the one that best fits the golfer- the major brands are all very close in design- i have Edel putter, Srixon irons, Srixon driver, cleveland wedges, taylormade 4 wood and hybrid- they were all fitted for my swing-

It really is whatever feels right to the golfer. For example I use a Ping driver, Taylormade wood, Ben Hogan hybrid, Mizuno irons, Titleist wedges and an Odyssee putter.

Titleist hands down for all of them. On driver tho, its a tie between titleist and callaway. there both so close.
