  • Answer:

The best tee box markers are the black, blue, white, red and gold colored balls with the protruding spikes for anchoring. These define the various tee boxes without being gaudy plus they are easily moved for mowing.

I think something keeping with the theme of the environment or name of the course keeps it unique and therefore, much cooler than going with something generic

I love the wooden tee marker being natural.

The Log tee markers look the most subtle and natural. They look good. Something that fits the golf course is always good. Maybe you wouldnt want the logs in a desert course four example, Maybe here you would want to use rocks or something.

Item no. T018 would be the best choice. They would be easily visible when approaching the tee are attractive and I doubt if they would get stolen as most of the custom markers are these days. Good luck with your selection

I like something simple and understated like a small sphere.

A nicely cut pair of tree branches are always very cool.

The object is not so important as clearly being able to see the markers and the color they represent. I have been on courses that have black, blue, gold, white that are all faded and small and you can't tell one from another. Troon North in Scottsdale is almost impossible to determine. I have always liked the little tractors they use at the John Deere Classic and the Coke bottles they used at the Tour Championship. Are you in charge of tee marker selection? Our course uses the wood log marker with the ends painted and these tend to rot and quite honestly look very cheap. The square wood markers, I have seen errant shots ricochet straight back. The dimpled ball markers scream 1980s public track. Use something durable, visible, easy to maintain that keeps its shape and color and ties into the surroundings or the name of the area or the course. Good luck.
