How much do a set of golf clubs weigh?

Which set of golf clubs is a better way to go?

  • i am starting to get a lot better at golf starting to have lower rounds, but i have a terrible set of golf clubs and I was wondering should i buy a set of $100 complete set of generic golf clubs or should I buy top of the line clubs but it would not be a whole set at once.

  • Answer:

It not the clubs, it's the player. Pick the $100 clubs because you can still learn the touch of every club better than your terrible set, and if you continue to get better then buy the good clubs, but you will still have a backup good set if a friend decides he wants to go golfing and bet money or something. To get more money, and if you are sure of yourself, start betting money on games. Those new clubs will come even faster! Hope this helps and may god bless you! ^_^

Yeah, don't buy a complete set if you're planning on sticking with it at all. Just buy them in pieces if you need to and buy them used or on closeout. Checkout the major retailers websites: golfsmith, tgw, edwinwatts, pgasupertore and click on the closeout club section to see if you can find any good deals. Also rockbottomgolf and naileditgolf have good prices on new clubs from the last couple of years. I would say start off with a set of irons or a driver, then some wedges and a putter, then the fairway woods and hybrids. If you buy one of those cheap sets, the quality will be awful. Try to stick to reputable sellers as counterfeit golf clubs are all over the place and if you don't know what to look for, you'll get screwed.

DUDE dont be a complete set!!! YOU WILL NEVER GET BETTER. Save your money and you have to buy certain clubs at a time. I currently play proffesional golf on the Canadian tour three years ago I advanced at Q-school and earned my card, unfortuantly i lost it last year because I wasnt shooting low enough. When I just started off playing golf I worked my butt of caddying and would buy the best top of the line golf clubs. The quote that says "Its not the arrow but the indian" thats complete crap. We are talking about golf clubs, not arrows. The best golf clubs will help you so so much!! Try buying the taylormade r7 cbg max clubs those are the best starters clubs and they are not too expensive.
