I love to watch golf on TV. Why is the quality of the picture of CBS Sports so poor?

Usually the morning coverage of the golf events are shown on either the Golf Channel or TNT and the afternoon coverage is on CBS Sports. When we watch CBS, the picture becomes pixelated off and on. This does not happen on Golf Channel, TNT, TBS, or ESPN. We have a Samsung 46 inch HD TV hooked up to Time Warner Cable if that helps. This is so annoying. Please help.

they just haven't updated their camera's to HD. all the channels you are listing (golf channel, tnt, tbs, espn) they have hd broadcasting.

Some channels only broadcast in 720p resolution even though full HD is 1080p (for now). I know that the golf channel broadcasts in 1080, I'm not sure about CBS but if it's 720 that could be the reason.
