Comfortable Golf Watch?

  • I am looking for a watch that I can wear while playing golf. The Tag Heuer golf watch would be perfect, but not exactly in my budget. It has a bracelet that doesn't have a clasp. The back of the case opens to take it off and on. Basically I'm wondering if anyone knows of a watch with a similar style bracelet? or just a watch that is comfortable and light enough to play with. Thanks for any help, DK

I love watches and have more than 20 of them. I cannot wear any bractet watches on the course, and that includes the Tag, regardless of the clasp. The best watch I have for the course, and the one I wear all the time out there is a Luminox Navy Seal watch. I have the 20th anniversary addition (model number 8815 which is in red, also comes in 8813 kahki and the 8817 carbon black). Very cool watch, rubber band so it doesnt move in your swing. Very light weight so you don't really feel it, hugh face (45 mm), waterproof to 200 meters and 20 atms and impact resistant (someone told me its supposed to be able to take a .22 caliber shot, buts its not listed as such on their website, and I decided to not test it.)
