What should I do to get a college scholarship?

What should you say in your first email to a golf coach if you want to get a golf scholarship to their college?

• I am a 9 handicapper who's attending a golf school. Im 17 and will hopefully be off scratch in two years time. I want to go to college in two and a half years time from now and was told to start talking to college coaches now but not sure what to say.?
