How much would a full set of golf clubs cost???

    I'm not from around San Diego, so I can't answer your second question. A set of golf clubs can range from around $200 to well over $2,000, just depending if you go with a name brand, and what level of club it is from that manufacturer. A good set of clubs will have 14 clubs not 12, because the USGA (United States Golf Association) set that as the club limit for tournament play. A some great sites to check are RockBottomgolf.com and 3Balls.com for gently used and dicounted equipment and TGW.com for brand new equipment.

It depends on the brand and whether they are new or pre-owned. If you are wanting brand name clubs, you can spend over 1000 bucks easily for a full set. However, you can save by getting pre-owned clubs or even go with an older model. Try ebay, golf galaxy, golf discount, golf warehouse, etc to get equipment. My golf clubs and bag cost $200 (before taxes). They are Tiger Shark for Ladies. (9 clubs/hybrid woods) Public golf courses cost between $8 - 38 depending on if you are talking about a 9-hole or 18-hole game, playing on off-peak hours on a weekday or peak hours on a weekend. Golf bag carriers range from free to $3-5. This information is for golf courses in the Los Angeles area.
