Where can I get cheap decent MTB?

Whats the best mtb pedals I can get for my road bike that will allow me to go long distances?

I have two pairs of shoes - MTB for my commuter roadbike(M520 pedals) and Road shoes (on my best bike) with Look Pedals (which I recommend!). You should consider doing likewise? .

I had the same want. Tried a few different pedals but ulimately ended up with Crank Brothers. The Candy model works great on the MTB, and I use the standard eggbeater model on my road bike. I use the same shoes with both bikes. The eggbeaters are best used with a stiff sole shoe as the contact point is small.

Well I use an mtb spd pedal on my day bike & for touring, it is a shimano PD-858 Its got a longer footplate area but you use standard Sh55 or 56 cleats If you can't get these then a PD 737 or 747

Either Crank Brothers or Speedplay. Both systems have enthusiastic advocates. If you are looking only for road use, I like the Look system, but your Sidi shoes won't work for that.

ok. if no budget limit then the crankbrothers eggbeater 4Ti its the lightest pedal and can be used with road and mtb it can make you go faster then any pedal in my opinion because of its small size and light weight. if on buget, i think shimano XTR will be a good choice too.
