Mountain bike tire on front, what tire on back?
-
I'm using my BMX bike for both road and offroad (practical use, not sports or racing). I have two (what i was told to be) "trick" tires, which seem to be short tires with a little tread. I'd like to have a wider mountain bike tire on the front, but what tire should I have on the rear (I'd like it to be narrower)?

Answer:
Put the less aggressive tire on the rear.

if it's practical for normal stuff, then use 700 x 18c or something in that range.. a little wider would be 650 c but the LBS might be the only ones to carry that. those are narrow and more efficient for that sort of thing. less resistance and narrow
