Why do my shoulders hurt when I pull up to jump my bmx bike it hurts the shoulder joints bad and I tried strectching befor I ride but it really didn't help so is there any way I could stop the pain and why does it even hurt

Answer:
Don't pull up with just your shoulders. Instead use your legs. When approaching a jump you want to push down on the front end "pre-load" before you start to go up the slope. As your front tire moves up the slope you want to extend your legs vertically.How fast and how hard is determine by the size of the jump and your internal courage. As you reach the height of the jump, Pull your legs up toward your body for maximum boost. Spot your landing and extend your legs and rebound for a smooth touchdown. Mucho practice and many falls until you feel comfortable. Let me know if you don't get it. So you see it not about yanking and pulling. Try it you'll see.
