What's a good dirt BMX bike for a beginner?

  • im 15 and im a big snowboarder, unfortunately there's no snow in the summer so im planning on trying BMX because 1.skateboarding sucks 2.dirt bikes are way to expensive. So im wondering what you would recommend for a good BMX bike good for dirt jumps and tracks please list brands that you recommend. try to keep the recommendation's under 500$.

    Go to "www.danscomp.com".They have all the popular bikes there.Don't get a bike with a gyro(The heavy brake).And there really isn't a specific bike for dirt, just change the tires.I would recommend the WeThePeople Trust(In red).Its more of a bike for a experienced person but you have the cash and its better to start with a good bike than, a sucky one and then having to get a good bike.

If i were you and looknig for a beginner bike I'de get the Eastern Traildigger or Fit TRL 1. There both beginner bikes that are less than $400. They both have there ups and downs but I'de consider them both pretty even. Pick one of those and you be set.
