Can someone recommend a quality bicycle for this price?

This spring, I want to start doing some road riding but also some trail riding so I'm interested in buying a bicycle. I'm not sure how much I am willing to spend yet...I may not if a quality bicycle is out of my price range. Right now i'm thinking between 300 and 600 dollars? Can someone recommend good bicycle brands or specific bikes if you know enough about them. Thanks!

Check out the Rincon or Yukon made by Giant. You might even check out the Rainier but I think that one tips in at about $700. The Yukon wears disc brakes, about the 470-500 $ mark. Rincon tips about the 350-400 $mark I think. http://www2.giant-bicycles.com/en-US/bikes/mountain/10/

its a GT Aggressor...200 bucks at Academy sports...it is a trail bike...if they dont have it in stock you might try to find one on eBay...
