Im looking to buy a sport bike this summer.. any advice is welcome?

id say keep doing your homework if you know nothing about motorcycles, you have a way to go yet, i dont want you out there on the street with me with what little knowledge you have. Look for a MSF course in your area.

Yep it's down the hill on the left -- Motorcycles -- they can't make it up here where we bicyclist ride.

You can get a real nice Dean titanium with full Campy Chorus for under $5,000, or a sweet full-carbon Colnago, maybe even a Time or Cervelo! A custom Serotta may push you into the $7000 range, but if your resting heart rate is in the 40's and you climb like Richard Virenque, then go for it! On the other hand, if this sounds like gibberish, then maybe you're in the wrong place, hmmmm? Just remember- girls don't want to date a guy that will die within a month, they want a man who can perform a repetitive pumping motion for hours at a time (hint: bicyclist).
