What is the Trek 7.2 FX WSD 2007 model bike supposed to look like?

  • I just bought a Trek 7.2 FX WSD bike. Problem is, I am not sure I got what I was supposed to get from the store I purchased the bike from. I can not find a picture online that looks like my bike. Also, I was at another store recently who showed me the bike I am questioning and I am thinking that it looked different than the one I bought today. Mine is silver, and it has a very low top bar, instead of one that meets at the seat post higher.

It sounds like you have been sold the women's version (low step through) of the 7.2 FX but not the Womens Specific Design version. The WSD version is specifically engineered for women (having shorter reach to handlebars for eg) The WSD top bar meets the seatpost and is not lowered. Check the Trek site http://www.trekwsd.co.uk/home.php?sec=subcat&MainCatID=4&SubCatID=31 which will take you straight to the WSD FX WSD models.

Hi did you check the vendor's website? http://www2.trekbikes.com/bikes/bike.php?bikeid=1343003&f=26 if you look at the pic and have questions, not only do they have a spec tab, but a geometry tab so you can make sure that its the same size as what you intended to purchase. if your bike is truly silver, you may have been mis-shipped. the closest WSD to silver is the 7.6 WSD, which has much better components....bonus. cheers
