What's The Best Sports Camera?

My bike got stolen while i was in a sports club?

  • Hey guys, i have a question, my bike got stolen, while it was parked in a sports club , bike parking area, i had a capoeira lesson at that time and in the 2 hour training, after it ended i went to my bike but it wasnt there! there was a camera, and hopefully it cought the robber on tape, we reported it to the sports club, and the police, but since bike stealing is common here in Brussels ( Belgium) they as ussual said they'll do what they can, but probably will not... Im hoping ill get some news about it, but my question is what do i do?? and Is it possible to get something from the sports center, since it was parked in their parking near the entrance with a camera pointing at it, thinking it would be safe... is there a way to get anything from them since the insurance isnt going to pay anything, because for some stupid reason they don't give a crap about stolen bikes... my bike was an 600euros worth GT SERIES 4 bike, less than a month old, and already stolen by some freakin' moron... and I'm really hoping that the police will get something about the bike, or atleast ill get to see the morons head burn in hell... So guys , any idea, or tips for me? Btw as i mentioned before i live in Belgium , Brussels so i need to know about whats the policy there..

So they had a camera pointed at the bike rack & possibly the parking lot too. What liability would the sports club have? Would they be liable if someone's car got vandalized or broken into? Nope. It's the OWNER'S responsibility to lock their vehicle. Just like it was YOUR responsibility to lock up your bicycle. From the statement by you - I can see no mention of a bicycle lock. We (those who answer questions here) see these kind of whining questions & statements every day or so. In 99% of the cases the bicycle was NOT locked up properly with a good U-Bolt lock & cable or chain. You called the thief a moron. If the bike wasn't properly locked up (as on link below) YOU'RE the moron.

I don't know how it is in Brussels, but where I live the Sports Center would have no liability for damage or theft in their parking lot. They can help by providing the police with the surveillance tape, but don't expect them to cut you a check. I'm sorry you lost your bike this way and I hope it gets found.

The surveillance camera at the sport center I used to go would show the center's manager taking the bike. You probably will be luckier squeezing some compensation out of a 100 kilo dumbbell.

so every record by the camera was deleted... what do it do? Buy a new bike & lock. Find a new sports club.
