Should i let my kid ride Bmx street?

I'm going to be quite blunt here. The risks involved in riding a bicycle - any kind of bicycle - are outweighed by the benefits. And I'm not a big fan of BMX bikes - but it sure beats sitting at home on your butt playing video games or watching the boob tube. How not to get run over? Simple. Learn the rules of the road & use them. BE SEEN! Be predictable when riding on the streets - where a bicycle belongs - not on the sidewalks. Make sure he understands it all. Another good idea would be to go out riding with him! I did. By the ripe old age of 12 - my son was riding 3 to 4 miles from home & back on his own. I made sure he understood the law & the proper way to deal with traffic.

It doesn't sound bad He just has to be careful were he rides, I do Bmx, and its really fun, and the only thing you need to be worried about is him wearing a helmet, and and have him go to the skate park so nothing will be in his way, so you should let him get involved in it, and I know someone who wasn't involved in anything and they ended up on weed, then to crack.
