• I'm gonna start learning flatland, and I was just wondering what you think is the best/one of the best flatland bmx bikes out there. I'm a total beginner, so I don't really know exactly what to get. What do you think? Also, since I'm not exactly rollin' in the dough, I'd like a cheaper one, but still good quality. I'm thinkng $200-$300 range if possible?

  Well, Jasmine, you will want to get urself the DK Opsis, the best beginners bike on the market hands down. I would suggest the Opsis to anyone just starting out. The good thing about it is that you can upgrade your parts when u feel like ur ready to progress, or when u feel like running some higher quality professional-level parts. All parts are available on the same website. Be prepared to spend hours, days and even weeks learning tricks. Flatland is hard, but super fun and rewarding. Not many ppl do it because they give up after a day or two of trying it. Why? because tricks don't come easy, ur gonna have to perservere and stick with it if ur gonna learn anything. But trust me, after you learn a few of the essential techniques, tricks and combos will come easy, like, a matter of days.
