How do you become a pro rally racer?

How can i become a pro XC racer?

  • i race in New England and i am in the top 3 in my category (beginner, moving up to sport next season). what else should i do to get noticed by the big names? i estimate that if i keep going at my current rate of progress, i should hit the expert class in about 3 years, moving up to semi-pro 1-2 years after that. how do i get my name out, besides winning a lot of races? just fyi, i race off road XC.

    Dope. Talk to bike shops in the area about getting sponsored and such. Oh, this "rate of progress" you speak of is irrelevant. There is far more talent than in your current class, so don't expect a structured rise to the top. But really, talk to your LBS. Networking through them will help you get your name out and meet people/
