I have zero trials experience, but if you google for "bicycle trials" you'll find some good sites. If you live in a big MTB area or go to your local MTB club website you'll find a few trials fans. Hans Rey is the big star, his site is pretty good. I can't teach you how to do that stuff, but if you have a BMX/stunt background it helps. Of course, 360's aren't really part of trials - that's freestyle. Trials is more about bunnyhopping up onto massive boulders from a 2x4 laid edge-on. The top tier guys seem to ride a bike like you're thinking, with a really low gear coaster singlespeed.

whats up dude? trials huh... lightweight frame, light but decent wheels, disk brakes, low travel well adjustable front fork but probably want a hardtail, maybe only 2 front chainrings, maybe just a sing. speed. dont know much about trials as we dont have those trails around here, wish we did though cause i love technical riding. the stuff u describe is more freestyle though and u might wanna get a lightweight bmx frame. wish i were more help.

get a good bike with lots of travel and it should be light with a small dimond frame.( hard tail would be best) u should consider getting companys like haro,kona,norco,specialized,tr... and gt. start with kona, specialized and giant they make good bikes and they are cheap for bikes within the same range. for kona look for stuff, lavadom or scrap norco:shore series haro:v series specialized:any thing they are all good and cheap ironhorse:make almost unbreakable bikes but they are heavy banshee:morphine series before buying the bike make sure that the dimonds of the frame should be small and points upwards the tyres should be wide and with lots of rubber studs. the fork should have atleast 100mm of travel better if beond 130mm. the suspention brand that you should look for is marzochii or rock shock they are the most common ones. if you dont like the suspention then you might consider spending an other 500$ on bomber shocks they are good qualityed stuff. i recomand a hard tail because they are easier to ride up hill and gives lots of air. and is cheaper and lighter. you should look for disk breaks but if the bike dont come with them v breaks are good too exept over time they dig into your rim and shorten the rim's life. and as for tricks when u r trying to hop on the back wheel hold on to the back breaks and pull up on the handle bars when u r in a jumping motion this will help get the back wheel off the ground. low travel forks are bad because they tend to bottom out esily and causing u to loos control as for big bunny hops i can't help u with that because i personaly dont have much sccess doing it. but when u do a bunny hop first jump up on ur peddals(but ur feet whould stay on the pedals at all times)and pull up on the handle bars at the same time.when the front wheel is off the ground push down and lean foward on the handle bars and this will make the back wheel lift off.as for the 360s i can't do it either but the idea is to turn ur waist hard so that ur body shifts with the bike and u should od this while the back wheel is off the ground.
