i have 6 gears in my new bicycle whats the function for them they ar efo speed of lighting of cycle abd when to change the gear is it the same system like bike and car?

Your "lowest" gear will deliver a lot of power to the rear wheel, but not much speed. This is good for going up hills. Your "highest" gear will deliver a lot of speed to the rear wheel, but not much power. This is good for going down hills. Start with the middle gear for riding on flat terrain. Shift gears to get more power or speed as your terrain changes.
