Pocket bike engine upgrades?

i have a x18 r pocket bike and i was wondering is soldering required to upgrades parts like the carburetor, intake manifold, gaskets, air filter, cylinder, piston and rings, pistin pin, and whats bore the engine case mean?. Ty

Answer:
No soldering required. Also suggest not spending a cent upgrading a pocket bike. A pocket bike is a waste of money and upgrading a pocket bike is the same as taking a pile of YOUR money and setting it on fire. Carb bolts to intake manifold which bolts to cylinder. Piston and rings are attached to connecting rod via a wrist or piston pin. The case requires boring to install a larger diameter piston and cylinder. All of which is a waste of money on a pocket bike.
