What is the best BMX bike for a beginner?

Does anyone know what a great beginner bmx bike is?

  • I am wanting to learn bmx this summer (well I kinda know how already) I want to buy a new bmx bike and start riding, but I dont know what a good bike is. The max I want to go for price is mayb $500. and I was thinking about a either Kink, Verde, We the People, or a DK but the local bike shop in my town does not sell DK bikes. So i was wondering what a good specced, not to heavy and cheap-ish bmx bike would be for a beginner. (btw, I can almost 180, and footjam tailwhip, and Im trying to get bar spins)

    go on danscomp.com they have the best bikes and best prices.. dk is crap and now and sold out to discount store like walmart so stay away from them.. def look at the new fit series bikes.. best bikes ive ever seen riden and owned

BMX's are for kids. Get a real bike, with an engine! E.g. Kawasaki kx, yamaha yz, suzuki rm - 85cc is a good size to start off with! Or, if money is tight, the chinese import pit bikes are just as cheap as a BMX & are much more fun!
