How do you ride a wheelie on a bmx bike?

Answer:
Drag your rear brake just a bit. This will give you some resistance to the peddling forces lifting your front wheel making it a little easier to find the right balance point. If you pedal too hard or lean too far back just brake a little harder and you'll bring your wheel down. Also, speed is your friend here. It's scarey but if you can go a little faster the bike will want to stay upright better. And, Practice, Practice, Practice. Wheelies are the kind of thing that look a lot easier than they are. Once you get wheelies down try manuals (a wheelie done just by leaning back and not pedaling) they are waaay harder but so very cool. Good luck.
