Where is Damavand mountain?

Where can I buy a GOOD mountain bike?

  • Preferably a mountain bike on 24 inch tires. A GOOD one at that. A bike I wont kill myself riding down a mountain on. Around the price range from $200-$300? Please help! I had a Mongoose mountain bike and to say the least, it didn't last long haha! So please help! Where can I get a good mountain bike at? Websites and brands would be appreciated too! Thanks!

    You have one of three choices. Here they are... A) A REAL bicycle shop B) A REAL bicycle shop C) A REAL bicycle shop If you are 4'10" tall or more, you belong on a bike with 26" wheels, but possibly in a small frame size. Bikes from REAL bicycle shops come in varying frame sizes to fit all people from 4'10" tall up to 6'4" tall & sometimes more. All with the same 26" or 700C size tires. Brands? Too numerous to mention them all. Raleigh, Trek, Giant, Specialized, Marin, Fuji, etc., etc. Look at the links. See how they all come in different frame sizes. BTW...if you want a "GOOD" one - you'll need more than $300. More like $400 to $500 - minimum. See your LBS - local bicycle shop. Not Wally World, K-Mart, Target or 99% of them on Amazon.com. The only good brand on Amazon is the better Diamondback mountain bikes. Last link. You assemble the bike or have a bike shop do it it for you.

A good down hill mountain will run you a lot more then $300. You will be repeating the same problem you had with your other bike.

In that price range it'll be tough. Walmart carries really cheap stuff...bike store generally really expensive. Go to a bike store or online and choose the type of bike you want and then Try Craigslist. They sometimes have 1500 dollar bikes for 300 bucks from people who really need cash
