What is a good sport bike for me?

  • Well I have very rcently found an increasing interest in motorcycles. I've decided that next year I want to buy a bike. I currently have no riding experience but will be getting lessons from my bro-in law. I want a sport bike. Nothing too crazy like a Busa or anything but I dont want any 250 baby bike. I was thinking Kawasaki Ninja 650r maybe...? Or, a Honda CBR600RR? Are these good choices? I really like the Honda but its very expensive. Is a Kawasaki 650r as quick as a CBR600. Also, How fast would one of these bikes be compared to a mustang or camaro for example. Just so I can get a comaparison of how fast various size bikes are. What can a 500 run with? 600? 1+? Im not looking to drive like a maniac or anything but I dont want somethin that cant keep up with your average car. Any racing I do WILL BE ON THE TRACK! Thanks alot for the help!

    Track Racing? Masi makes some real cool retro track bikes. You'll have to pedal them though. Which is good for your health and the environment too. Real Men Use Pedals!
