Will Lance Armstrong ride in the Tour Down Under next year?

Will Lance Armstrong ride in the Tour d' France this year?

  • Has anything been confirmed as of yet? And if so, will he still be on Team Discovery?

  • Answer:

Armstrong seems steadfast by his retirement statements. So with that in mind, I don't think we'll see him in any more professional racing. In the meantime, it seems as though his longtime teammate and "lieutenant" George Hincapie is being primed to fill his shoes as team leader & frontman. I'd say look for Hincapie to be the man to watch in this year's Tour.

I don't think so. He has retired. He has made a great impact on cycling today despite the fact that he has been diagnosed with cancer earlier in his life. He survived that just as he survived the sport. he was different TV stattions anouncing that he will not take part in anymore tours De France at least as a cyclist.
