What road bike to get out of these two?

Which Bike Should I Get?

  • I have £300 and don't know what bike to get, I will be going on off road bike rides as well as on road.     For the extra £25.00 - get the Trek with disc brakes!!! Specialized (on that bike) uses a cheap rear derailleur and a 7 speed "freewheel". The Trek uses a 7 speed "cassette". MUCH better! No doubt in my mind in this case - the Trek.

Without looking I would go for the specialized bike. Prefer them to trek. And now i have looked would still go for the specialized.
