Why is Taufel sorry now?

  • The umpire Simon Taufel has apologized to Umar. This shows he was wrong and the match referee Sri Nath showed many replays where he had given decisions against Pakistan. His decisions were "fishy decisons" and PCB reviled Taufel and demanded an inquiry for the fraud. His main problem was ICC decision to give the best umpire award to Aleem Dar. Dar is much better than this two pence fraud. He also wanted his beloved country to have a weak opponent in the finals. Isn't it time that such umpires who are biased towards the sub continent teams be banned? Some Indians don't realize the dangers posed by these white races. Pakistan is not India's enemy, it is these people who want to keep us down. Some users like Bond and Evan keep on praising them. Either they are blind to the facts or they don't care, especially if they are x-ians. Muhammed Ali Shah has entreated Ejas Butt to press for a ban on Taufel. I hope this cheat is removed from the elite panel.

Still whinging? Good on Taufel. He realised his mistake and rightly apologized unlike many other umpires. He takes pride in being the best and he doesn't take even the smallest of mistakes for granted. God oh mighty, it's a frigging LBW decision for Pete's sake!! To suggest he is part of a conspiracy against Pakistan for whatever reason it might be is absolutely ridiculous. You people need to get your head out of the gutter and appreciate the man for what he has done for cricket over the years. He is still clearly the best umpire out there and it's only human to make mistakes.

I understand disappointment and disillusion but to harp on the same for such a long time is too much. If Taufel has apologized it shows the man has guts: why don't you appreciate that. If Sri Nath has shown the clippings he, as the match referee was trying his best to diffuse tensions. He's a good match referee. Yesterday some people wanted to ban India from cricket and yahoo section: today you want to ban one of the most outstanding umpires of cricket!! Well... I don't support Aus blindly, but when there is some good I appreciate it. I know most of their users bad mouth India, that's not my concern. I live my life according to my conscience. It has nothing to do with my religion: I don't wear it on my sleeves: for me, the country comes first, and then religion. It's nice to hear Pakistan is not India's enemy: keep it that way for all of our sake.

Calm down ! Its human nature to make mistakes. But it doesn't mean Taufel made mistakes knowingly. Its just part of the game leave it.

What are you saying that simon is a bad man and he never apologize for his mistake. He is the best umpire and users like krishnam never give him respect. PCB needs to be reminded why neutral umpires had become necessary..... the ignominous record of LBW decisions by Pak umpires in various test matches played in Pakistan. Wasn't Raina given out wrongly at the most crucial time? That error took Pakis unfairly to SF..... so please shut your trap!!

he only won best umpire 5 years in a row. and dar only got it cause they were sick of giving it to taufel! in other words, for the past 5 years australia had crap umpires! weve been putting up with crap decisions from crap umpires for 5 freakin years!!! welcome to our world! now you know how we feel!!
