What's the weather like in New Zealand?

Pakistan, New Zealand or the weather?

  • Which one will win the first test match. Will New Zealand's hometown advantage and the internal strife in Pakistan's side see them through? Will Pakistan's swing/spin attack and New Zealand's internal strife see the visitors through? Or will New Zealand's horribly unpredictable November/December weather beat both teams? It should be interesting since both sides are unpredictable test sides and both having internal problems, New Zealand with the coaching staff and Pakistan with the captaincy what are your thoughts?

  • Answer:

Weather, because rains are just unpredictable. New Zealand will and can survive without coach Vettori is there to help but Pakistan cant survive with all those captaincy plots.

Pakistan might have the advantage, they have seniors in their team that could play in high level. On the other hand, I don't think NZ will be capable of performing to good. The team is a little of guard. New Zealand’s home advantage is very large, they have fans supporting and their batting is strong but then again pak will still win.

i think NZ will win

Well I expect the weather will have an effect. But the pitches too will be bowler-friendly (except Napier), meaning that these test matches may only last three days anyway, so there will be room for weather to do its best without forcing a draw. It's 6 years since Pakistan last visited our shores, meaning there are many members of the Pakistan team have no experience on New Zealand pitches. In fact, even if they had been here more recently, the early-season pitches will offer something completely different. Never has test cricket been played in New Zealand in November before. The previous earliest the home test season began is December 7th, and the first test of this series begins two weeks before that date. I think that is going to provide a huge advantage to NZ, they are more used to batting on the green pitches you get so early in the season from domestic matches played in previous years. New Zealand should win in Dunedin, while the Pakistanis are still adjusting to NZ conditions. Pakistan should win in Napier, it's a good batting track. Whoever wins in Wellington will win the series.

Pakistan will win.

We don't know who will win because if you look at the one day series, we were expecting that pakistan will win the series but they didn't. My prediction is that pakistan will the series. Inshallah pakistan will win.

It should be easy for NZ to beat them at home, even without coach because Dan is there to take care. Can't trust the weather though.
