    Day 1 pretty much belonged to India, I must say! Cowan did very well on debut. Usefull contributions from Ponting, Warner.Haddin and Siddle did well to stay there till stumps. Yadav was terrific! He generated some good pace and bounce. India lucky to get some decisions in their favour! On Day 2, I expect India to clean the tail up till, say, 350. What will be interesting to see is the way Australians bowl!

Disappointed about no DRS. Even blind Freddy can see it's beneficial to the game. As a result of no DRS, Hussey was incorrectly dismissed. That could have been avoided. India bowled consistently well and Australia showed promise with the bat. Lots of people say Warner is a hitter only but i think his innings today and in the last test showed that he can play a proper test innings as well as smash 6's all day. Cowan has shown promise with the bat on debut.

Dr. House has bad flatulence.

Australia had a some sort of recovery from being 215 for 6. India also have done well today.
