Why do people blame video games for violent kids?

My little brother plays violence video games non-stop! Its all he ever does! He scares me a lot when he gets mad, I'm serious, he seems like the type of person who would kill someone out of anger. He is violent sometimes. My middle brother doesn't play much but he isn't mean. my little brother does not a mental illness. It just gets to his head. I'm not violent because i don't play these games but i believe its the violent games they play. Have you every heard about Pokemon? It was very popular and they had their pokemon cards. little kids went insane when one person didn't want to trade pokemon cards with them...search it up.

They think that the violence can rub off on you... Cuz it does.... And I know this cuz my brother is like that.

well video games decensitize people, where killing in life feels just the same as in video games, heck many hard core gamers can't differ the difference between reality and video games, and when they go and kill people, they think its just a video game. thats why! if parents actually gave a damn about their kids they would not let them play these retarded games! ah but you forget the times when someone ran over the other, thinking it was cool because they did it on grand theft auto. etc.

Because people love to hate on things they don't understand. I've killed many people in grand theft auto, call of duty series, and halo 1-reach. I've never felt like picking up a gun and killing people for real. I used to pretend to be link for the legends of zelda when I was kid, but I never hurt anyone. It was just play. By the time I got into high school I didn't really pretend to be video game characters. @Matt- What are you like 65 years old? There are so many things incorrect in your answer.
