How to become a lawyer in Canada?

Canadian that wishes to become an American?

All of my biological family are American; some were born in America and some just got an American Citizenship. I'm planning to study in a Law School in America to become a practicing Criminal Lawyer than get an American citizenship but I'm so not patient and I believe this isn't possible because I simply can't afford to become an American. I want to leave Canada for good. There is nothing here and I just feel like it was a big mistake for myself being born in Canada. Canada is just boring for me; America is so patriotic and it makes me want to join such a beautiful nation. Advice?
