I live in Thailand. A Christian couple who live near my home - he's from Wisconsin, she's from Florida - had a Thanksgiving celebration last night. Most Thais have never heard of this holiday, but a few showed up because they were in the neighborhood or invited. I was the only other American. There was no turkey, but there was Thai fried chicken. I brought Thai food. There was also pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce, but no stuffing. And real bread made by the couple in their breadmaking machine - that was the highlight for me. You can't get real bread anywhere near here. Hope you had a good one.

In australia, no... but we do have ANZAC day (April) which is remembering and thanking all the soliders from previous wars (manly WW1 and WW2 and Vietnam etc) we also have Rememberance day (november) where we take a minute silence to celebrate the cease fire of WW1 and to thank all the people who fought for our country in many wars. We dont really have a thanksgiving day. We have a sorry day for all the stolen generations of aboriginal people and their horrible treatment over the years, in which they are still suffering.
