What are the best songs to cheer up/encourage war-torn children?

• A conflict in North Uganda between the Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF) and the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) has decimated the economy, retarded the development of affected areas, and led to numerous gross human rights violations. Since Yoweri Museveni became president in 1986, more than 1.2 million Ugandans have been displaced and tens of thousands have been killed. An estimated 20,000 children have been kidnapped by the LRA for use as child soldiers and slaves since 1987. To avoid abduction, thousands of children leave their villages every night to hide in forests, hospitals, and churches. To this day, the war is over but the people of Uganda are left in a state of need. Music is a powerful thing. It can be used to encourage, motivate, influence, and cheer up those affected by it. What are the greatest songs that can help encourage and brighten the spirits of the innocent young children of Uganda? A list of your top 5 or 10 songs would be appreciated.

  Most of us are not knowledgeable about that specific a situation, but I would assume that ANY happy kid's song would do. Just think of songs like "John Jacob Jingleheimerschmidt" and go from there.
