Which career is the best for an introvert?

What would be a good part-time job and career for an introvert?

• I don't really mind talking to people, but I don't like how they expect me to make them laugh. I don't do tricks for them. Right now I work as a cashier and I get the job done, but customers don't like how I'm too serious. Since when was that part of the job? They would seriously prefer that I get their change wrong, but at least entertain them. This is why I am starting to hate people. I am majoring in engineering. Is this a career path that is compatible with my personality? In the mean time, what is a good entry-level job while I'm in school?

  I'm an introvert and I deliver pizza and I love it. By the time you get to their house, they're so hungry all they want you to do is drop off the food and go away. They don't have time for chit chat. And most of your time is spent in your car where you can stay in your head and think your thoughts without interference.
