Good gift for a future medical student?

• I need to buy a Christmas gift for my 17 year old sister. I'm trying to avoid all the usual perfume, skin cream, and jewelry type gifts, so I thought that since she wants to be a doctor, I could get her something related to the medical field or medical school. I've already come up with the ideas of buying her some DVDs of the show House or a medical encyclopedia. What are some other suggestions?

  Please...please....please get her a medical bag to carry all of her stuff in. I have a friend who was in medical school. All of the stuff she bought, had given to her, or used through the school was so out of order and she really needed it all to be in one place. It allowed her to keep the items with cords, like her stethoscope and blood pressure cuff, all in a neat little order and in one place. .
