Does the Bermuda Triangle exist?

About bermuda triangle.Does bermuda triangle exist? And what causes it to exist?

  • Is it true that things dissapear when it passed through the bermuda triangle? if so, what causes it?

  • Answer:

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a geographical area in the Atlantic Ocean famous for its supposed paranormal activities. It is roughly an equilateral triangular shape with its three corners located near the islands of Bermuda, Puerto Rico (near its capital city San Juan), and Miami, Florida, encompassing an area of nearly half a million square miles (1.2 million km²). There are many claims of paranormal activity within the triangle, especially the unexplained disappearance of ships and aircraft, or of their crews. Other common claims made of the region are that the laws of physics do not apply there as they do elsewhere, or that extraterrestrial beings are responsible for the disappearances. The triangle Although there are many opinions on exactly what area is covered, it is usually considered to be the triangular area already mentioned. Other shapes have been suggested, including more of a "trapezium" covering an area extending back into the Gulf of Mexico and down into the Caribbean Sea, or in fact no dimensions at all, or a shape incorporating all of the northwestern Atlantic Ocean. To take advantage of prevailing winds, ships returning to Europe during the Age of Sail would sail north to the Carolinas before turning east to cross the north Atlantic. This pattern continued after the development of steam and internal combustion engines, meaning that much of the north Atlantic shipping traffic crossed (and still crosses) through the triangle's area. The swift Gulf Stream ocean current flows through the triangle after leaving the West Indies. The combination of heavy maritime traffic and tempestuous weather made it inevitable that vessels could founder in storms and be lost without a trace — especially before improved telecommunications, radar and satellite technology arrived late in the 20th century. Vessels still sink occasionally, but rarely without a trace. Other areas often purported to possess unusual characteristics are the Devil's Sea, located near Japan, and the Marysburgh Vortex (or "Great Lakes Triangle"), located in eastern Lake Ontario. However, the "Devil's Sea" is not particularly well known in Japan, because most vessels lost were small fishing boats with no radios.

well, the triangle exists as a description of a geographical area. It has a whole bunch of superstition attached to it. you posted your question in the 'mythology and folklore' section and that's exactly what the Bermuda triangle is: mythology and folklore! please don't listen to anyone who tries to sell you on that bull crap.

I have a theory; I imagine the lost city of Atlantis is in this area. Now they existed before the Noah's flood and they came up with an Atomic bomb much much greater than any we know of today. Now they wanted to test it, but did not know what force or what amount of damage it would do. So they shot this bomb into space at a planet beyond Mars. Now this planet is completely destroyed by this bomb and the edges of the asteroid belt beyond Mars scientist say is too jagged to be there for millions and millions of years. But now this upset of our solar system the people of Atlantis did not account for the fact then our axis is tilted because of the imbalance and this tilt floods the earth, also changes the day year cycle from 360 days to 364.25 days, also the orbit went from circular to elliptical. I imagine this area was very full of civilization at one time. And today there is a ghost of a door into another world or dimension that can be reached through this area, because of the civilization there before.

I grew up on a boat. Now, we're not talking about some 15' fishing boat that your dad keeps in the driveway, but a 48' sailing vessel. My dad made a buttload of money in the early 80's and we moved aboard for 3 1/2 years and just sailed around to see what we could see. Before we moved aboard, we completely rebuilt the boat and replaced anything and everything that showed signs of wear. New engine, electronics, batteries, sails, all navigation equipment, complete refit of the galley and quarters, the works. For all intents and purposes, this was a brand new boat that happend to have a 12 year old hull. While sailing in the Bahamas, we would occasionally have the compass go off by as much as 15 degrees for a few hours. That may not sound like much, but when you have nothing but water completely surrounding you and there isn't anywhere to "pull over to ask directions" it can get dicey about what you might run into. A 3 ton steel barge-mooring bouy will drop a small craft like ours to the bottom in seconds. One time in particular, we lost ALL electrical power for a little over an hour. We performed maintenance on the batteries weekly and I checked them personally. They read to be fully charged, however we couldn't even get the smallest light to come on anywhere. The main switch and all of the breakers were "on" but we had NO power. Fortunately, being a sailing vessel, it didn't make that big a difference in us getting anywhere. A decent sailor doesn't even need a rudder and can steer by using the sails. But still, we couldn't use any of the electronics that told us where we were. After about an hour, the power came back. We didn't make any changes to anything (although we had checked literally every circuit and switch in the entire system) but it was as if the electricity had just been allowed to work again. What causes it to happen? I have absolutely no idea. Is it true that strange things happen in the BT? I have absolutely no doubt. I've seen it.

It exists. It sucks up planes and ships and there are many horrible storms there. supposedly.

embia13

there is no such thing, every shipping lane with as much traffic has just as many "mysterious" disappearances....

Its an area where many ships and planes were lost. There is a rip in the fabric of time, there. There is a opening to another dimension, there. There are an unusual number of storms, there.

Lots on this myths, it is no better or worse here than many other bits of Ocean. Disorientaion of compasses and plain stupidity have led to a lot of stories.Makes good reading Bimmini is one of the suspected location of Atlantis. Most famous incidents are pretty spectacular a squadron of US planes vanish, and some pretty large ships, for no apparent reason. I am on the fence on this one.

The Bermuda Triange is the Earth's main energy field or "aura". Things get sucked into it because it's a vortex where energy currants meet. Gravity is turned on it's head, electronics don't work, etc. You should check it out sometime.
