Why do people say Ouija boards don't work?

• My friend and I use our Ouija board every Friday night after school and it works just fine. We kind of broke the rules though. We begin by asking the spirit if it is there, the slider goes to yes. Then we ask for it to play a song that we both know (we always have a guitar, a piano, and a flute beside us with our AC is turned off so there is no air blowing through the house) and last time it played Crucified by Genitorturers on my guitar for one full minute. Then we asked for its name, it said Eric Robertson, then we asked if we let go of the slider, if it will still communicate. It said yes, then we let go of the slider, and we asked if it was still there, a cold chill came over us and it said yes. The slider actually move to yes and no one was touching it. Then we asked when he was born, he said 1969, then we asked when he died and he said 1990, and we asked how and he said when the floor of my house collapsed on top of him. That was surprising because the floor in my room had to be fixed before we could move in because there was no floor. Then we asked if he has always stayed here after he died, and he said no, then we asked why he came back and he said that he heard the call and came back. When I touched the slider again, I don't remember anything, but my friend said i blacked out and she had to close the session herself. People say to have silver on the board, but it didn't help me, but I was wearing a silver chain, and according to my friend, it saved my life and my mind. At first, I never believed what happened, so we did it again, but this time we turned off the lights and light seven candles, one for each of Satan's demons, and this time, we got a response from Beelzebub. They started to count backwards from 10, and I saw this as it counting down the time before it would come out and possess me, I personally don't believe in possessions, but better to be safe than sorry. This scared the heck out of us so we closed the session. I haven't turned my light off in months, but I did today, and my room finally warmed up. I could see my breathe in the middle of summer, and I live in Florida, but now my room has actually warmed up to 77 degrees. Just a word to those who believe me, never light seven candles and call to Lucifer, it's not a good idea, and never let go of the slider unless you know how to dismiss evil spirits, or stop them from counting backwards from 10. And a word to those that don't believe me, you should try it yourself, and you'll be a believer soon.

  Let me ask you a question: Do you think the devil would like for you to get involved in these practices? The answer is yes—and that should be a solemn warning to you. The Bible is very clear: If we want to please God, we will avoid everything that has anything to do with the occult (even if it seems innocent or harmless on the surface). The reason is because occult practices of any kind could involve you with spiritual forces that are opposed to God and are, in fact , in league with the devil. I know that is a strong statement—but I can't emphasize strongly enough how spiritually dangerous it is to follow Satan's way rather than God's way. When the Ephesians who had practiced the occult became Christians, they "brought their (magic) scrolls together and burned them publicly" (Acts 19:19). They knew there could be no compromise between their old way of living and God's way. Don't try to resist the "pull" you feel toward the occult in your own strength. Instead, by faith turn to Christ and ask Him to come into your life and give you the strength of His Holy Spirit.
