The sex scenes in tv shows or movies, are most of them real(flesh to flesh with genitalia) or not?

supposedly ALL sex scenes in movies (non porn movies) are fake because real intercourse/penetration would make that porn. i dont really understand the difference because they make it look so believable. they focus considerable time on a sex scene with close ups and stuff. its sad what hollywood has to go through. anyway, if it was real, the movie would be porn. so i would say all of mainstream or hollywood or nonporn movies are fake with the sex i know, its hard to believe that monsters ball scene was fake. so hard to believe

They use stunt doubles for that, the actors never actually do it.

Hi Funk, as other people have said, 'proper' movies can't have real intercourse in them. Only porn movies are allowed to have real scenes; even in 'soft porn' there is no actual penetration. There may be some independent movies which feature the real thing, but I don't see why they should since it's possible to film it realistically without having the actors to sleep with each other. As for the cocksock, I only found out about it recently and I have to say it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Only Americans could think of that. I've seen the same interviews to the True Blood guys, and Alexnader Skarsgaard is the only one who makes sense: "If the director wants me naked, then I'm naked.". This is how things are done in Europe, both on movies and in theatres. I've seen plays where actors are naked on stage - Romeo and Juliet, for instance, and Equus. It's quite normal. The fact that the sex itself is fake, however, doesn't mean that the scene is fake. Some actors are characters actors, and make it 'as real as possible', with the consequence of being deeply affected by the scenes. Famous examples include Maria Schneider being raped by Marlon Brando in Last Tango in Paris (she never spoke to Bertolucci again), Yorick van Wageningen raping Rooney Mara in Girls with the Dragon Tattoo (he spent a whole day crying in his room afterwards) and Maria Bello's rough sex with Viggo Mortensen in A History of Violence (her bruises were so severe, they covered up some of them with make up). As for how sex scenes are filmed, I think that every director has his techniques. I know some want to be alone with the actors, to give them some privacy and make it more 'real', while others prefer to have the whole crew around to get is as perfect as possible. Mints seem to be standard procedure before kisses (makes sense). Some famous actors may request a body double, either for privacy reasons or to hide unseemly bits of their body. Sharon Stone requested a body double on The Quick and the Dead not for herself, but for partner Leonardo di Caprio - he was 21 at the time, but looked 13, and she said he was too young to have fake sex with. Apparently, he was deeply offended by this :). Anyway, don't focus too much on this stuff - just sit back and enjoy the magic and the make believe...
