The Mark of Athena? (sequel to Son of Neptune!)?

(contains spoilers!) ______________________________________… A CLIFFHANGER?? how could Rick do that to us, knowing that we will have to wait a FULL YEAR for the next book!? I have some questions for u! 1. Is there really only gonna b 3 books in the series? Somebody said that online but his website still says 5! 2. Do u think Annabeth is gonna be the last person of the propechy? I am about 99.999% sure that she is because it would be a little bit stupid if he took a random demi-god out of nowhere and made them a child of Athena! 3. What about the Sammy Valdez thing?! Him and Leo? 4. I feel like i am gonna explode if next October doesn't come quickly! Seriously! 5. Do you like the Kane Chronicles? I personally don't like them, and I think that Mr. Riordan should stop them for a year or two and write the Heroes of Olympus! 6. Who exactly came on Argo II? I thought it was Annabeth, Leo, Piper, and Jason!? Did some of the other campers come? I am so sorry for all the questions! Asking them makes me feel a little better about having to wait for a full year... *sigh!* Why did I have to finish "The Son of Neptune" so fast!? I finished it the night it came out! P.S. THIS IS MY MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION!!!! What could the propechy that Ella said about Annabeth (we think!) mean? "Wisdom's daughter walks alone, the mark of Athena burns through Rome!"   Okay, Lets start this off. 1) 5 books. Not three. The web user who said otherwise will feel my wrath :) 2) To tell you the truth. I'm not sure. Most people assume it IS Annabeth, and i understand why. But wouldn't this be the perfect opportunity for RR to surprise us? Make us think its Annabeth? Who knows until the book comes out. But i could see RR doing that. 3) My thoughts on this so its just a guess. I GUESS MADE BY THE DARK LORD. Ahem. Perhaps Leo and Sammy ARE the same person, though maybe he lost his memory like Percy/Jason. Or, Leo could be a descendant. Or, he could just have the same name. But we all know RR wouldn't do that to us. 4) I agree. You have Lord Voldemort's consent. 5) I had a feeling this would crop up somewhere. Right, they are very good. And i HAVE read them. Though i would prefer RR to bring out the book say in February or earlier and bring out KC a bit later. 6) Defiantly Annabeth, Leo, Piper and Jason. Other campers may of come to see Percy and this strange Roman Camp. I guess Chiron might of gone, but probably not. They would need some guards to make sure nothing got out of hand. So if i'm honest? I think a few more people then those three. And as for this important question. Wisdom's daughter walks alone, the mark of Athena burns through Rome!" Now think for a second on this first part. "Wisdom's daughter walks alone" That must mean a Daughter of Athena/Minerva. (I'm going to call this mystery daughter DoA -Daughter of Athena- Since we're not sure it IS Annabeth) As for the walking alone bit? Maybe DoA has to do something alone. Something that is very important yet she has to it. And no one can help. I Dont know what, but i know the alone bit is vital. Second: "The mark of Athena burns through Rome!" I have a few theory'ses on this. Now what is the mark of Athena? Owls Olive Trees Snakes Aegis Armour Helmets Spears OR This "Mark" of Athena could mean something like the curse Athena put on Daedalus OR This DoA could be given special powers from Athena Okay as for the Burns through Rome concept. Maybe a Owl/Olive tree and the above burn in Rome. Something to do with Franks Curse/ Leo's powers? OR Maybe this DoA has a curse like the one in BotL and in Rome is were she is freed from it OR Maybe these powers burn Rome? Change it somehow? Say like the special power was...er... a lightning bolt (it wont be): A lightning bolt burns through Rome. Like a Lightning Bolt travels through Rome? Hope I've helped. Who has Annabeth never been able to kill? We have two options who may actually fit. Percy Jackson. Luke Castellen. (Idk if i spelt that correctly) I can't see it being Percy, so we're left with Luke. Now, If Gaia controls the "Doors of Death" Does that mean she can bring Luke back from the dead? In a nut shell? Yes. Gaia probably KNOWS Annabeth could never kill Luke, and since Percy did? Hey, just bring him back from the dead right? Like RR said. History repeats its self. BUT This theory is a long shot and may not be correct. Flaws in the theory: At the end of TLO Luke shows remorse for his crimes and such, So would he work for Gaia who wants to kill Annabeth and all he cares about? No. But. Maybe Gaia is sort of black mailing Luke: "You'll try and kill those Demi Gods or ill kill you and send you back to the Underworld" Hey, anythings possible. But as for this Luke theory? I have my hopes up. It would be a perfect way to try and bring Annabeth/Percy down. Annabeth wouldn't be able to kill Luke. Twice. Percy, well, Percy found it hard enough to kill him the once.
