What is wrong with you kids?
-
http://www.komonews.com/news/47879422.html you know, when i was growing up (late 80s, early 90s), there were some pretty outlandish movies (even vampire movies), but i don't think we were ever this dumb.. so my question is, why do you kids REALLY think that you're vampires?

Answer:
Ugh - between the recent increase in the popularity of vampires from the "Twilight" books and movie, and the popularity of mermaids from the Disney show "H2O Just Add Water", it's rather scary to think that these children are our future. When I was young, I had plenty of fantasies, sure. But I didn't think I could actually be something that didn't exist in real life. There was a difference between make-believe and reality, and a time and place for each. And yes, nowadays, even young teens are actually thinking they can *be* mermaids and vampires. Where are the parents to keep their children somewhat grounded in reality?

The real enemy is Children having children And that damn electronic baby sitter... Children today are receiving less and less input from their parents and these children are left alone with only their imagination to guide them into a state of reality... So don't blame the children blame the parents who are at the ages of 12 to 18 who thinks that it is cool to have a baby because they think that they can raise a child better than their parent even if they do not have the mental fitness or the money to to even buy their child's diapers....... And these children having children only have the same electronic babysitter that they grew up with.........

'Bitten on his forehead'! Not just vampires but stupid vampires at that. But it brings a smile to my face imagining some kid with a crescent of scabs across his forehead where he was bitten like a ripe apple.

I was hoping there'd be a photo of one of these crazy kids with the caption underneath reading 'Not Pictured: Vampire' Was born in the mid 80s and grew up in the 90s....all I remember anyone doing was pretending to be a wolf when Balto came out or pretending to be an X-man/Thunder Cat. But it stopped at pretend. They probably think that being normal is uncool so they try to be something more to escape their mundane lives.

the idea that you can live forever, have super strength and speed, and the fact that you could kill anyone who tried to hurt you, has drawn our generation to believe in a false reality. Lets face it, i'm sure that deep down inside we all wish we were vampires! Dangerous, mysterious, and totally hott. Whats not to love?
