Does anyone out there think The Illuminati is real?

Illuminati - really real?

• I've seen Angels and Demons, but I thought the Illuminati were just something made up, but now looking it up today - accidentaly- it's really began to freak me out! Do they honestly have power over out banking system? Do they have power over elections? Do they have power over celebrities and more importantly - did they kill MJ and Tupac? This all is a bit confusing, could anyone elaborate on the purpose of the Illumianti and if you think their real or not?

  The illuminati are in fact real, but their history varies greatly from the majority of myths and urban legends that surround them. They do not control the banking system or elections, though they have members who have a major stake in both. They are more akin to a gentleman's club (In the old world sense), in that they are a group of men who get together and talk, usually on philosophical, religious or intellectual matters. The organization is old, and so most of it is strictly ordered by tradition, but it's mostly harmless. The only thing that truly distinguishes them other than the age of their organization is their training in clairvoyance. The Illuminati have a long history of funding clairvoyant research, beginning with one of the founders, Victor Illuminatus' founding of the San Francisco Academy for the Clairvoyantly Gifted in 1642. Rather than seeking to use this power for good, evil or personal gain, they followed the path of second sight in order to pick up chicks, as stage magic and the three-piece suit had yet to be invented. They continued this for many years, eventually solely out of tradition, and they continue to use their mental powers for idiotic, frat-boyish pranks to this very day. As to your second question, Tupac was killed by the psychic powers of Uwe Boll. Michael Jordan is still alive, but his humanity remains in question.
