Is it possible that a civilisation like ours has already existed?

Is this an indication of a superior civilisation that once existed on earth?

• It has been alleged that there was a secret mission to the moon in 1976. An Apollo 20 mission to investigate the wreckage of an alien spacecraft. This allegation was posted all over the web and in Youtube. It was also alleged the astronauts found the remains of a city on the moon. It was also further alleged the astronauts recovered the corpse of an alien being from the spacecraft. However, the alien corpse shown on videos look so human. So human until it couldn't seem to have come from another planet but planet Earth. If all these videos are true, could this be an indication of a superior civilisation that once existed on this planet? A civilisation that was somehow lost?   Hi Sleuth, So much of this is speculation based on rumour based on more speculation, when you're left with such guesswork it's impossible to say one way or another. When your information is coming from such a secretive (and military oriented) organisation like a government body it should be treated with great distrust, generally when they "leak" information, it's supposed to be that way! That said, the idea of a prior civilisation to our current one is a very old theme and there's a lot of interesting, it depends on how far back you wish to go really. Our "post flood/deluge" history is fairly good as far as the early civilisations at babylon and Sumer are concerned. Eustice Mullins wrote a good book called "curse of canaan" which discusses these civilisations and how they progressed through the ages. Also Barry Fell wrote an excellent book called "America BC" which show's Columbus was not the first to "discover" the americas by a long shot. Before the flood is obviously very hard to determine, personally, I wouldn't be shocked to hear that there was a civilisation before that, and who knows if there was a connection to other planets like Mars there? A lot of our very early astrological knowledge is fantastically detailed so you have to wonder where this knowledge came from. I only hope if such a civilisation existed, that it was built it on a humane system more reflective of our species at large than of the power hungry, secretive, greedy psychopathic minority who dominate our current one :) Keep searching!
